Formal invitation wording for corporate events in the UAE
Ready formal invitation wording for a company celebration, a conference or a business dinner, in Arabic and English, with the reply line and an entry pass.
A formal invitation has a set language, and anyone reading it can tell from the first line whether the host cares about detail. Mistakes show more here than on any other invitation: a missing title, a wrong Hijri date, a venue with no proper address.
The full formal form
The Board of Directors of [Company name] requests the pleasure of your company at the company's annual celebration on Wednesday, 9 December 2026, at 7:30 pm, at the Beach Hotel, Abu Dhabi.
Kindly reply by 25 November.
If the invitation is from a person, their title and position come before their name: "His Excellency the Chief Executive Officer...". If it is from the organisation, there's no need for a person's name at all.
A conference or forum
A conference needs a programme, not just a time. Put the essentials in the invitation and leave the rest to the programme:
[Name of the organisation] invites you to its annual forum on Tuesday, 15 December 2026, from 9 am to 3 pm, at the Exhibition Centre, Dubai.
Registration opens at 8:30 am.
An invitation site gives the programme its own section, with times and sessions, alongside a map and a countdown, so there's no separate PDF to get lost in the chat.
A business dinner
We would be delighted to have you as our guest at dinner to mark the opening of our new office, on Thursday, 10 December, at 8 pm.
Dress code: formal.
The reply line
At a formal event the headcount isn't a detail. The hotel charges for tables and meals on the confirmed number, and the gap between 120 guests and 160 is a whole invoice.
When Azayemna sends the invitations, each guest replies from their own link and the replies collect on one list you can watch fill up. The list closes twenty four hours before the event, which gives you a full day to hand the final number to the venue.
The entry pass
For an invitation-only event, the entry pass matters more than the invitation. Each guest gets a code of their own on WhatsApp, and it is scanned once at the door, so a copied pass can't bring in a second person. The scanner runs in any phone's browser and keeps working with no signal after it first opens. It is AED 5 a guest with a card, or AED 7 with an invitation site.

Check the titles and the Hijri date one last time before you send. They are what a formal guest reads first.
