What can the free invitation link do?

A name has to be written into the card before the card is made, and the free tier makes nothing. The invitation plays live in the browser from the same data the gallery draws from, so there is one card and it is the same card for everybody who opens the link.

There is no guest list behind a free link, so there is no name to put in it. If a host switches names on and then shares the link, the page says so rather than ignoring the setting quietly.

A clear sheet sits over the artwork, so a right click and a drag save nothing useful. The mark comes off only on a paid send, which Azayemna delivers itself.

A free link carries 50 opens and then it stops. An open is not a tap and it is not a person. It is worked out from the devices at each connection: the first 5 devices on one connection count as one open, 7 devices count as two, and 9 count as three.

It used to count connections alone, so a hall of people on one network counted once, which was more generous than it should have been. One connection still cannot go past 40 devices, because past that it is not a household.

It caps how far the link travels rather than counting who saw it. One device can have more than one person looking at it, and a phone that moves from a home network to a mobile one is counted in two places. That is why Azayemna never calls this figure a number of guests.

The network address itself is never written down. What is kept is a one-way fingerprint of it, computed with a key that never leaves the server, and deleted after twelve months. A device is told apart by a random number Azayemna writes into a cookie of its own, never by anything read off the machine. The privacy policy sets out what that means.

The connection the design was made from never counts at all, so a host can reopen her own link as often as she likes while she is checking it.

The guest's own name inside the card, delivery by Azayemna to each guest on WhatsApp, a personal entry pass if the event uses the door, and no watermark.

A host still never holds a file. Azayemna makes each video, hands it to WhatsApp, and deletes its own copy.
