How are passes scanned at the door?

The door is a scanner that runs in a phone's browser. You make a link, hand it to whoever stands at the entrance, and they scan each guest's pass.

Does it work with no internet?

Yes. Opening the link once with a signal saves the guest list on the phone. After that it checks passes with no signal and sends its scans when the connection returns.

Can it be installed on the phone?

The helper adds it to the home screen, where it opens full screen under the event's name. The scanner shows the steps for their phone. Nothing comes from an app store.

What does the screen say after a scan?

One answer in large type: let them in with the guest's name, already in, the other door, pass cancelled, or not on the list. If the camera cannot read a code, the helper lets the guest in from the list by searching their name.

Can several doors scan at once?

Yes. Make a link for each helper or share one between them. Every scan is checked again on the server, so the doors end with the same count. You can stop any one link if a phone is lost.
