What does Azayemna keep about your guests?
Azayemna keeps three things about a guest: the name the host gave, the phone number the invitation is sent to, and the reply. The phone number is never stored in the clear. It is encrypted with a key that lives only in server configuration, and it is held a second time as a keyed hash, so a repeated number can be recognised without the number itself being readable. Azayemna does not sell a guest list. It never messages a guest anything the host did not send, and it keeps no copy of the video once WhatsApp has it.
What is held, field by field?
The guest's name, and the first name on its own, because several designs address a guest by it. The phone number, encrypted, plus a keyed hash of it that lookup and deduplication run against.
The country the number belongs to, so a list can be read back grouped. The reply, the companion count, and whether the entry pass was scanned at the door.
What is not held?
A readable phone number, anywhere in the database. A guest account, because a guest never makes one and installs nothing.
A stored video. Azayemna makes one for each guest, hands it to WhatsApp, and deletes its own copy. What stays is the design, which is a row saying which template, which palette, which arrival, and the wording.
Who can read a guest list?
The host whose account holds it, and nobody else. Row level permissions in the database tie every contact to one account.
An operator inside the Azayemna console sees that an order exists and what it cost. The console never shows the numbers, which stay encrypted.
How long is it kept?
While the account is active. When a host deletes an event or her account, Azayemna removes the personal data from active systems on a set schedule, unless a law requires a record to be kept longer.
Under the UAE personal data protection law a person may ask to see their data, correct it, or have it deleted. The privacy policy is the full statement and this page is the short one.
