Why does a named invitation take longer to send?
Azayemna makes a separate video for each guest when the invitation carries that guest's name, so a send to a thousand guests is a thousand renders rather than one. That is why a named send takes longer than an unnamed one. It costs no more money. The price for each guest is the same whether the card says a name or not, because Azayemna runs the renderer on a machine paid for by the month and not by the minute.
What changes when a card carries a name?
The video changes, not the design. Every frame of an invitation is photographed as it plays, and the frame holding the guest's name is different for every person on the list. A video made for Noura cannot be sent to Mohammed.
A send with no names is one render for the whole event. Fifty guests or five thousand, everybody receives the same video, and Azayemna makes it once.
Does naming each guest cost more?
No. The price for each guest stays the same: sending costs AED 4 for each guest, or AED 5 for each guest with the entry pass, named or not.
Azayemna runs the renderer on one small machine with a flat monthly bill, so a queue of a thousand videos costs the same to run as a queue of one. What a longer queue spends is time, and time is not billed to anybody.

Why does Azayemna not charge for it?
A named invitation is what a paid send is. Charging extra for the name would be charging twice for the same thing. The extra machine time has no bill behind it, so there is nothing to pass on.
Two savings are already planned and will cut most of the wait. Azayemna will render once for each distinct first name, because a list of five hundred Gulf guests holds far fewer than five hundred names, and it will share every frame that plays before the guest's line arrives.
